Traditional Southern Style food and hospitality. Great Southern Style Breakfasts with fluffy pancakes and real egg white omelets. For lunch, try the fried green tomatoes. For dinner, try the Shrimp and Grits. It gets busy, so prepare wait.

Family owned Seafood restaurant in business for more than 30 years. Not a particular fancy place, but the food is outstanding. Crab cakes are firm and tasty and the scallops are excellent. For something special, try the home made pickled beets.

Healthy food, friendly service, and moderate prices, a hard combination to beat. Fish Tacos are unforgettable. Many creative and interesting dishes including the Mahi Mahi Sandwich and chic pea salad. For a little pick me up, try the Mexican Hot Cocoa.

Funky locals place with fresh oysters, crab claws and shrimp. For something interesting, try the deep fried dill pickles and hush puppies. Keep on the good side of the bartender who can get a bit surly when the place is hopping.

Hearty, filling breakfasts with all the standards including pancakes, bacon and eggs. Nothing to write home about, but the prices are resonable, and the portions are generous.

Small artsy wine bar and tapas place with a great selectoin of beer and wine. Menu choices are ambitious with interesting flavorsand textures. Consistency and service are somewhat lacking. You'll either be "wow'd" or disappointed, depending on your luck.

Cozy Thai Restaurant with great food, but limited seating. Nice selection of vegetarian food including Golden Tofu Wedges and Fresh Spring Rolls. Standards like Pad Thai, Tom Yum Soup, and Spicy Chicken Basil are also very tasty.

Seafood restaurant infamous for its sign barring screaming kids. So if you're looking for screaming kids while you eat, this isn't the place for you. Soft shell crab sandwiches are out of this world, oysters in season come highly recommended as does the flounder.

Tasty hot dogs in beef, pork, turkey or tofu with a large selection of toppings. Home made sauercraut is particularly tasty while the "special sauce" was somewhat less than special. The location is small, so you'll probably want to eat outside if you can stand the heat.

Home made pizza joint with thick sloppy, extra cheese, slices,  tasty sandwiches and fair pasta dishes. The place gets busy so you may have to wait awhile to get a good seat. Ask the bartender for food recommendations to get the best stuff.

A cute little Italian place stuck in the 1970s with home made classics like vegetable lasagna and eggplant parmesan. Portions are generous, staff is friendly, prices are reasonable. Pizza crust is fantastic, but the sauce may be a bit too sweet.

More of a drinking place than an eating place. Burgers, home made chips, fish tacos, and fresh salsa. Great place to stop off at on the way back from the beach. Service is a bit slow, but the people are friendly and helpful.

Locally owned neighborhood bar with super friendly and helpful staff. Food is plain but consistent. The best thing on the menu is the Reuben. Onion rings come in as a close second. Great place to relax.

Great view of the beach. Scallops were good, everything else was just ok. Best part of the experience is the view. Service is friendly, but a bit slow.

Fast service, tasty but somewhat greasy food. Patron Margaritas are definitely worth a try. While the food is not particularly spicy, it's filling and reasonably priced.

Good location and interesting surroundings; the restaurant is a renovated church. Service was a bit lacking but the food was tasty and plentiful. Stick with the grilled seafood and try the peanut butter martini.

Great locations, nice view, mediocre service and food. Not the best place in town, but it's hard not to enjoy the view. Stick with oysters and beer.

Pricey restaurant with award winning chowder, great broiled seafood entres and good service. The taste of the seafood really come through because it is steam or broiled rather than breaded and fried. A worthwhile splurge but probably not an every day thing.

Great atmosphere, food was ok, but not as advertised. It seems like menu changes are made frequently, often not matching up with the advertised specials.
